The Aberfoyle Gala is an annual village event held in the field off Manse Road. There is a large free public carpark available (signposted off main street) approximately a 1 minute walk from the Gala, for this please use FK8 3UQ.

12:30 Gala Procession (Lady and Laird of the gala with marching band. Starting from the Petrol Station)
13:00 Dog show (register at dog show stall)
14:00 Duck Race 1
14:15 Bake Off Judging (main tent)
14:30 Kids Bike Games (register at Dirt Divas stall)
15:00 Kids Races (register by the hay bales)
15:00 Duck Race 2

Bake Off: This years bake off will be a judged competition of Victoria Sponges. Free entry on the day. Please ensure you drop off your cake by 2:00. Judging will commence at 2:15. Cakes will be judged by local ‘Shuggy Hollywood’.
Duck Races: The duck races are held on the River Forth (approx. 200m from the main field). Entry (sponsoring a duck) will be available from the main gazebo, subject to availability.
Dog Show: Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Registration opens at midday (please come to the dog show stall to register). Recommended donation of £2 per category or £5 for 3.

– Wagical Wonder (waggiest tail)
– Puppy Love (under 12 months)

– Golden Oldie (over 8 years)
– Dogelgänger (dog that looks most like it’s owner)
Prizes will also be presented for the dog who doesn’t want to be here the most (Pawcrastinator) and the most talkative throughout the competition (Pawblic Speaker).
